Our Debbie Allen Dance Academy Early Bird Summer Camp is an exciting adventure, which introduces children, ages 4-7, to the world of Dance Theatre. There is no requirement of previous dance experience or training. Our aim is that all of the children have a wonderful, happy, fun-filled day in different dance techniques, under the caring supervision of our highly-trained and qualified staff.
 Bronwyn Thomas, Early Bird Dean
This children's course of dance and theatre has been designed by our Early Bird Director, Bronwyn Thomas, a Master Teacher of Classical Ballet and Musical Theater. Ms. Thomas, formerly of the Eliot Feld Ballet and guest artist with American Ballet Theater, is renowned for her ability to work with and teach young dancers.
 The children will study Ballet, Tap, Jazz, African, Hip-Hop, and Drama. This is supplemented with music, voice, and crafts. These activities give the children an opportunity to make friends while learning in a safe environment. A small performance at the Academy is the culmination of the Summer Camp experience.
Camp begins at 9:00 am with a drop-off time of 8:30 am, Monday through Friday. Pick-up is at 5:30 pm, with a late pick-up arrangement at 5:55 pm. The Early Birds have a lunch break and snacks, served twice daily. There is a quiet time after lunch, before the afternoon activities begin.
The dates of the program are August 2, 2007 until August 23, 2007. The cost of the program full-time (5 days a week), is $810.00 The fee includes tuition, lunch and snacks daily. Half-day pro-rated arrangements can be made on a limited basis. A non-refundable deposit of $100 holds a child's place in the program.
