With a focus on disenfranchised Black and Latino communities, the world class faculty and staff members of the Debbie Allen Dance Academy use dance and theater training and performance to enrich, inspire and transform the lives of its students.
At the Debbie Allen Dance Academy, we are proud to offer a comprehensive schedule of different Programs perfect for dancers of all ages and abilities. From ballet to hip hop, modern to musical theatre, our Programs will challenge and inspire you to discover your inner artist.
Tailored for young students ages 8 and up looking to take their skills to the next level. Students accepted must attend a minimum of 7 classes weekly. All experience levels welcome.
Hand selected by Debbie Allen, the Red Birds Program allows the dedicated student to increase their focus on technique and artistry through a rigorous curriculum. 7 - 13 classes weekly.
Designed to inspire children between ages 3 and 7 seeking foundational skills in dance through technique, musical exercises, teamwork and play. Students must take 2 - 7 classes weekly.
SONS OF DADA
Our signature scholarship program for young male dancers with training in ballet, African, hip hop, tap and more. Open to students between the ages of 8 and 13 - audition required.
Join us for one of our Open Classes, perfect for students of all ages and skill levels. Explore the world of dance in this exciting and dynamic series with its focus on health and fitness.
At DADA, we believe in supporting our dancers with an expansive offering of specialized Intensives designed to hone their skills and broaden their artistry. Available both during the year and in the summer, we also provide online Intensives.
The Debbie Allen Middle School for the Arts will be an independent, private school for aspiring young dancers in grades 6-8. Starting in the Fall of 2021, Debbie Allen's Middle School will be a place for students to nurture their creativity and explore the connections between the academic world with dance and the theatre arts.
