PLANNED GIVING
Including the Debbie Allen Dance Academy in your estate or retirement plans is a lasting way to ensure DADA’s mission of making the arts accessible to ALL for years to come. DADA’s Planned Giving program recognizes those who have made a planned gift of any type and give them special benefits. Naming the Debbie Allen Dance Academy as a beneficiary of your IRA, will or trust allows you to make a very meaningful investment in our work without gifting assets during your lifetime. Let us know by emailing DADA’s Director of Development, Dina A. Bartello, dina@debbieallendanceacademy.com so that we can answer all of your questions.

GRANTS, STOCKS, AND TRIBUTES

DONOR ADVISED FUNDS (DAF)
A donor advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with your support of DADA. If you have a donor advised fund with Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, or BNY Mellon, DAF Direct enables you to recommend grants to DADA directly from your DAF. For more information about donor advised funds, please contact Dina a. Bartello at: dina@debbieallendanceacademy.com

GIFTS OF STOCK
Publicly traded appreciated stock could be the most tax-advantaged gift you could make to DADA. Contributing such assets may enable you to eliminate capital gains tax liability on the sale of assets or enjoy a current tax year deduction while allowing DADA to receive the most money possible. To explore this option further and request stock transfer instructions, please contact Dina A. Bartello at: dina@debbieallendanceacademy.com

TRIBUTES
For as little as $25, you can honor a loved one or mark a special occasion with a contribution that will assist in providing much-needed arts. The honoree will receive a unique Debbie Allen Dance Academy card with your customized message and a note that a lifesaving donation has been made in their name. For more information about tribute opportunities, please contact Development.

COMMEMORATIVE BRICK
Support the arts with the purchase of a “named brick” in DADA’s home, The Rhimes Performing Arts Center. Become a part of our rich cultural arts community for generations to come by having your name or the name of a loved one memorialized on a commemorative brick for all to admire

MATCHING GIFTS
Many employers offer matching gift programs that may double or even triple your donation to DADA. Take a moment to connect with your employer and if they offer a matching gift program, they’ll provide a form which can be completed and submitted with your contribution. Matching gift programs allow you to maximize the impact of your donation. For more information, please contact Dina a. Bartello at: dina@debbieallendanceacademy.com
