The Debbie Allen Dance Academy in association with the Annenberg Foundation and the Rhimes Family Foundation presents Debbie Allen's Hot Chocolate Nutcracker, at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center.

Debbie Allen has taken the ballet classic and given it fresh, new context with lively characters, new music by industry legends, diverse choreography, spectacular aerial arts and state-of-the-art projection to create an immersive, vibrant and memorable theater experience for all ages. The Hot Chocolate Nutcracker is an international sensation made evergreen by the Netflix documentary, "Dance Dreams." Don't miss this reimagined holiday tradition.
Pre-Performance Events:
Fairy Queen Tea - Join us before each matinee for a beautiful catered tea, hot cocoa bar, cast member meet/greet, storytelling, surprise guests, themed photo opp and a giveaway for the Fairy Queen's custom-designed, artisan pointe shoes.

Girl Scout Patch Workshop - Created for individual Scouts and Troops of GSGLA. Scouts earn a custom Hot Chocolate Nutcracker patch (plus meet criteria towards GS badges and Journeys) while learning about performing arts, aerial arts, costuming, pantomime, and more. A perfect holiday outing for Daisies, Brownies, Juniors and Cadettes. Workshop is paired with special Girl Scout show ticketing.

Fairy Queen Tea and Girl Scout Patch Workshop are separate ticketed events.
Tea and Workshop offered prior to Sat/Sun matinees only.

Public performances will be presented December 7 - December 10, 2023, with proceeds benefiting the students of the Debbie Allen Dance Academy. School performances will take place Wednesday through Friday, December 6th - 8th.
